Luckily this research quest will remain available once the Season of Legends ends, so you don’t need to worry if you can’t complete all of the challenges upon it’s release. As the name suggests, Season of Legends focuses upon legendary Pokémon, including the release of new legendary Pokémon and a legendary focused Special Research quest, among other unannounced features. On this page: The Season of Legends quest is a special research quest which means it doesn’t have a deadline and will remain available even when it’s related season ends, so you can complete it at your leisure. This research quest is divided into five steps, with each one consisting of three individual challenges. You’ll be rewarded with a variety of items, Pokémon encounters, XP and Stardust for every individual challenge and overall step you complete. These steps do, however, need to be completed in order. While this quest does share the title with the current Pokémon Go season, it doesn’t have a deadline, which means it will most likely stay available once the Season of Legends concludes. This means you can easily complete this quest in your own time without having to worry about missing any of the rewards. We do recommend skipping this section if you’d prefer to be surprised about the Season of Legends special research as it does contain spoilers for the whole quest.
